A1 are an all-boy pop group formed in 1998. The original group consisted of Paul Marazzi (founder), Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Ben Adams. Releasing their debut single and most popular song, "Be the First to Believe", A1 charted at #6 in the U.K. Their rendition of a-ha's "Take On Me" also was huge hit. Unfortunately, like most boy groups of their time, A1's popularity frayed much like N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys.
