The romantic Austrian composer Johann Strauss (the Elder) composed the Radetzky March (Op. 228) in 1848. The march (dedicated to the Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz) was to become his most famous piece. Originally an orchestra song, it sounds pretty awesome on piano as well!
