Of Monsters and Men is a five-member, English-language, indie folk-pop band from ReykjavÃk, Iceland. Hailed as "the new Arcade Fire" in Rolling Stone magazine, the band's original lineup comprised singer/guitarists Nanna BryndÃs Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson, guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, keyboardist Ãrni Guðjónsson, bass player Kristján Páll Kristjánsson, and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson. The band's infectious first single, "Little Talks," saw worldwide success, and the band soon signed with Universal Music Group. They appear as a traveling band in the fifth episode of the sixth season of the television show "Game of Thrones".
