Philip David Charles "Phil' Colins, was born in London on January 30, 1951 and is a successful musician, record producer, and actor. Phil Colins rose to fame in the 1980s when he became the lead singer and drummer in the rock band Genesis in 1975. Along side singing and drumming, he also plays the piano and the bagpipes. Colins topped the charts with seven US and three UK number-one singles in his solo career between 1983 and 1990. Some of the popular songs he released included "You Can't Hurry Love," "In the Air Tonight" and "I Don't Care Anymore".
