Vince Guaraldi was a popular jazz musician and pianist, and a composer for the Peanuts television specials. He was born in San Francisco in 1928 and started playing piano at an early age. He died in 1976 at the age of 47 when he suddenly collapsed due to heart problems. During his funeral, his colleagues played Charlie Brown music at the Church, to commemorate his contributions to society. The piano was so influential in his life that in 2012, there was even a biography about Guaraldi published called Vince Guaraldi at the Piano.
