Wonder Girls is a South Korean group that's been active since 2006 when they were formed by producer Park Jin-Young. They were introduced to the world in a tv show called MTV Wonder Girls. There are currently four girls in the group, Yubin, Yeeun, Sunmi and Hyerim. In 2009, they charted at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their popular song "Nobody", making them the first South Korean group to enter the chart. They usually make music with retro dance-pop elements from the 1960s-80s. For a new band concept, Sunmi was supposed to play bass guitar, Yubin the drums, Hyelim the guitar, and Yeeun was going to learn to play the piano. However, they didn't record instrumentals for the album even though they learned to play the instruments and performed songs with them live.
